Ok, due to some past events, and since the Community as a whole had the chance to review and comment on this, I am now placing this list into effect.
These are the consequences for violating the rules listed. Please note: Official Forum Rules have been posted in the Rules Section. Please read.
Personally, I wish we did not have to go this route, but it seems there are a few who believe the forum can be misused. So...
VIOLATION and CONSEQUENCE:
HACKING = Banned forever.
CYBER BULLYING/ PHYSICAL THREAT Due to the severity of this action, and the possibility of following through, LEGAL AUTHORITES WILL BE NOTIFIED, and a CG WIDE PERMABAN will ensue.
PERSONAL ATTACKS Don't mess with other people, and when you constantly insult and attack other members you will be banned temporarily and then permanently.
GRIEFING/TROLLING/BEING DISRESPECTFUL Will possibly result in a warning first but most people who can't behave will get temporary and then permanent bans based on the severity of their actions.
PORN /SEXUALLY EXPLICIT Due to the Forum Host’s hypersensitivity on this subject, any pictures/videos or thread topics considered Not Safe For Work, cannot be posted here. Pass through posts (linking to other sites) are also forbidden. Any posts of the such will be removed and the poster will be banned without warning.
SEXISM/RACISM NOT TOLERATED HERE: Any disrespect towards another person, race or group is not funny here. We take this seriously and when you choose to make fun of it or disregard our rules on it, you will be banned.
ADVERTISING SPAM Do not advertise here for another Community or Clan, or use the Forum for any other form of advertising for profit. We will block and ban any accounts created to do such.
PIRATED SOFTWARE / MUSIC This will not be tolerated on our public forum, it can get CG into big trouble. Look up "Troll Lawsuits." Due to the Trolling of Forums to find people to sue over illegal software, there will be no posting of it here, and no linking, or pass through posts. Depending on the severity most people will be warned and then banned.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES Any illegal activity posts must be solely on the values of whether, or not, illegality should be. Posting activities such as drug use, underage drinking, underage sex, pride posts on illegal acts you got away with, etc., are forbidden. The police can become involved with CG if it holds evidence towards any crimes and we'd like to avoid that. You will be warned and banned depending on the severity of the situation.
PRIVATE MESSAGING MISUSE Private Messaging here is a misnomer. Any Reported misuse of Private Messaging can lead to consequences. Please forward any misuse to the Forum Admin for review. Misuse examples: Personal Attacks, Advertising. Misuse for Advertising is the same consequence as Advertising Spam. All other misuse is the same as Personal Attacks.
This is a fair warning, but not everything listed here defines what you may be banned or demoted for. For further information on an issue contact a CL.
