The dude writing the lore literally said everything in the previous games is no longer strictly canon, and has relegated everything to being "vaguely canon" by saying the events of the previous games are "exaggerated legends"

The combat system hasn't been changed a bit from what we've seen so far

The best and most interesting places and events in the lore will probably STILL be left out or barely glossed over.

Meh, i never liked Elder Scrolls games to begin with. I only liked Skyrim because it atleast managed to look pretty and have loads of mods that I animed up the game with.
