Fraps

So I got FRAPS 3.4 and started recording my desktop

If I set to full size my comp runs slow

Half size it runs fast but the quality is shitty

I save my videos to a 3.7 gigabyte flash drive, and a 2 minute videos takes up like 25% of that...

any thoughts on this?

The quality of Fraps is 100% Accurate to what you see originally.
So there wouldn't be much if any degrade in quality from conversion.

Run Fraps 30 FPS. Sexy but eats up space. Use Camtastic Studio or something.

Well, that's unfortunate lol. I used to have a laptop too although it was pretty fine with running shit.


Use WinAVI. It's a really good program, converts fast and has like perfect quality.

@Inject Most free converters out there have a tendency to fuck quality up the ass hardcore.

Camastic Isn't free
