timing out problem

people on the zps cg server are timing out with no clue what happened. you can hear about this problem from multi-grain and spartan.

Steam being the ****got now or something probably.

This is happening in TF2 also, strange that it didn't happen at all in l4d2. Seems like something that Valve will put out a fix for in the next day or so.

There was some nasty hacking going on last night, reported by numerous players who came in my server.  Most likely this led to the consequences we all experienced across Steam, seeing as steam is seldom stable in general, nevermind when all the hackers come out to play.  U_U

i experienced this issue a few days ago, but haven't seen it in our server since.

ethier way i am taking precautions i am putting a plugin on our server to block some ways of lagging up a server
i will pass the link along to chris and pillz

they way multigrain described the lag and what happened before i know what happened i think
