TF2 Server

I was thinking about putting up a TF2 server later on and trying to get that going if possible

what we would need to start with is

a popular mode for tf2 and a good dedicated large amount of people from CG to play on the server when it is new and keep it like that for a while

2. What gamemode/maps/plugins are most popular for TF2 ?


It is ethier this server or CSS we may give a crack at both probably starting with the CSS and see how that goes

2. I would say saxton hale mod or zombie fortress. Those usually have a steady flow of players.

It wasn't very popular except for 6 pm to 10 pm, so I don't know.

Well, first we have to have a positive idea of what we're gonna do.

Will it just be a regular server?
Or maybe a joke server?
a SERIOUS BUSINESS server?

We also don't want to stick on ONE game mode, or if we do at least not payload.

As for plugins, I really don't know the names of them but there are a number of cool plugins that give you cool additional abilities with your items (hide in a barrel with backburner, run faster when healing, etc.).

RTD is also a cool thing to add in.

if we put a tf2 server up i would most likely buy it and dedicate my time after school to play it as much as i could but i dont really want to buy it unless its going up?

(btw no gurantee that im going to buy it, its mainly if i can get a visa to buy it LOLZ, cause as u know i still have to get hl2 but ill try if it goes up)

1. Yeah, I'd play it a lot. I don't play TF2 much currently because I can't find a server with cool people.
2. Saxton Hale mode is pretty fun, and isn't really serious, which allows for dicking around.

I'd really like a TF2 server.
