Source games freezes *VALVe fixed it!*

Everytime I open up a game on source, everythings normal... Until I opened up the server browser... then it freezes forever (BTW I also tried everything to fix this ).
I just wanna know if you guys also have this problem, cuz I'm not the only one who has this particular problem.  :-\

Can you view the server list via steam, BEFORE loading a game?  Like, right click steam icon click servers then select the game you want to look for or favorites etc.  or does that also freeze up?

It also freezes up sadly, it's like loading 10 servers then freeze then freezes more when loading more servers. I know it's weird. Hopefully next update VALVe will fix this, cuz this is getting quiet stressful. Plus the only way to join a server is by clicking join game friends game. That's about it.

Ok well then we know its all of steam.  Hmm.  Well at least this is probably ok on ZM right since there are less than 10 servers?  trollface

In all seriousness, if it is happening in the steam browser too, I wouldn't have any more ideas other than the standard stuff people say for every steam problem, delete client.registry.blob and restart or reinstall steam.

All I can think of is what Chris said, or an entire re-isntall of steam. Can you join servers via 'join insertiphere' in console?

I can confirm that this happens to me too; and I only just installed Steam a week ago.

I go to check my favorites in ZPS and the CG server isn't there, so when I hit refresh the game freezes up for a few seconds then displays the server.

Sometimes there is no freezing and the server shows up but about 30%-50% of the time I get freezing when I refresh my favorites/history tab.
