I'd say a little longer for excessive tking (revenge tking is tking nonetheless) as well as ignoring admin warnings, so maybe a week and a half to two weeks, but if he admits that he's done something wrong and pledges to not do it again, I see no reason to perma ban him for a first offense. I know it can be frustrating when a tker joins a server, but you either gotta let admins do their job, or just let the TK limit do its thing.
If there is a "TK-Limit Mod" up to 5 then how was I not auto-banned for exceeding 5 TK's?

EDIT: Counted, definitely 11 TKs
I only count 7. Have to keep in mind that it includes all damage done, even to the Hidden, who he's supposed to kill.
Still more than enough to justify a ban, and judging by the fact that he was shooting one person, killed someone else, then went back and killed the first person he shot is incredibly suspicious.
If Pyro would post the entire console log then you'd gain a complete perspective over what occurred. As it stands, the current console log only shows my actions (made before and after Echo arrived in the server). If you could view the entire console log then you would see Batman TKing 10+ people. We will leave this to all mighty Pyro. Once he gets online, I'm POSITIVE he will leave his closing statements whether ban stays or not (7 is still valid for a permanent) and will most likely close the thread. That's basically it.
If the TK's I did against recurring players weren't counted then I would not reach the maximum. Both IBanana and Batman had been damaging/TKing players and there was no admin on at that time and I simply TK'ed them not only out of revenge but to prevent them from TKing other players on the server. While I understand that what I did was against the rules, I don't understand why I can't be given a 2nd chance given that I have no prior bans on my record and this is simply a one time incident. Obviously if I encounter a TKer on the servers in the future I'll go through the proper procedures of notifying an admin or posting a Ban Request. I believe that my apology for my actions is sincere and that I truly have regret for disregarding the rules given that I took time to make this ban appeal (or ban reduction more or less) and responded to comments in an attempt to defend myself. If I simply didn't care about my actions then I wouldn't have taken time to register an account and make this post.

Clearly there aren't 11 TK's in this console log, feel free to double check it with Pyro's log because I didn't make any changes except bold the TK's I did. If the admin had punished Batman after warning him to stop TKing, I wouldn't have TK'ed him and I wouldn't have been banned. Echo told us to stop but Batman continued to TK both me and and the admin, Echo chose to do nothing for a couple of rounds and I would rather play the game than be killed in the first few seconds of the round so I chose to TK Batman.

Reading this, pyro says it was 11 team kills. I don't care the status of other people, you teamkilled 11 people. I vote ban stays, it clearly says no thing in the motd, so batman would have been likely banned if you had just let him to you. That's how people get punished. Ban stays IMO.
Where is everyone getting the number 11? If you can show me proof that I TK'ed 11 people then I vote that the ban stays as well.

Self defense killing is revenge teamkilling!! If he just would have let Batman kill him and not revenge teamkill then I would have seen the 6th teamkill earlier, and Batman would have been banned. BillSmauz did not listen to my warnings and that got him banned.
You let Batman kill me for 2+ rounds straight, even after warning him. It didn't seem like you were taking any action against him so I did what I think most players would do, kill him before he kills me. It would help my case if you posted the entire console log so you can gain a perspective on my actions and see that, while they're not justified, are somewhat excusable given the circumstances. Like I stated in my earlier posts, this is an isolated incident which I regret taking, disobeying orders from an admin (whom I didn't know was an admin) and continuing to revenge TK. If you guys see it fit to stick by a strict policy with no room for interpretation then there isn't much I can do to change your minds. And I've already admitted to revenge TKing, I'm not saying that the admins were in the wrong in punishing me, it's the duration of the ban that concerns me. Additionally, if you didn't count every single TK I did against Batman, I would not have surpassed the 6-TK limit.

I'm not sure where you're getting the number 11 from, in the console log you posted the first 4 kills were players when they were Hidden. Before Echo notified me to stop:1. IBanana had shot me and several other players intentionally (it was as soon as the round started) damaging us so I killed him for doing so, the console logs will confirm this 2. If you go through the logs you will see that Batman started to TK players, myself included, so I decided to unwisely avenge/revenge TK Batman on several occasions which is the bulk of the TK's 3. One round in particular, Batman started to TK and I began to shoot players as well (thinking they were Batman) and damaging: Ron Burgandy, asilveras, Echochrome4 from there, Echo warned us the server to stop TKing (by this time several players had already left) After the warning:Batman continued to TK both me and Echo (you can confirm this by seeing the console logs in their entirety). Echo warned that if TKing continued, we'd be banned but Batman had continued to TK and wasn't punished which lead me to believe that Echo wasn't an admin. So I decided to revenge TK Batman before being banned. All of this can be confirmed in the unabridged console log. I understand that I am in the wrong for revenge TKing an not listening to the admin and for that I apologize. If you feel I deserve to be permabanned for an isolated incident then I cannot argue, I can only promise that I won't disobey these rules again.

So you think you're justified? It's quite humorous because you always are directed to something called MOTD, which is that lovely little pop up that appears before your very eyes. On there you will notice it states no teamkilling. By clicking "okay" you hereby acknowledge and accept our server rules. Once you break one, there is no need for any justification. Especially if an admin witnessed you doing this. I'll leave you with that to think upon.
Actually I just stated that my actions in revenge Tking Batman were not justified. What I was saying about accidental TK is that it is inevitable (e.g., a Hidden is near a teammate and in order to kill the hidden you accidentally shoot your teammate in the process). I have Accidentally TK'ed people in the past (which is what Red's statement is referring to); even in trying my best to not shoot my teammates, it still happens from time to time. In this particular case I was intentionally TKing Batman who had also been TKing me and other players (the other players had left the server before Echo arrived). I understand why my ban is warranted but my main issue is the length of the ban (one year long) for a first offense.

I told you to stop team killing. You continued to team kill after many of my warnings. That is not needed. My ban description says 6 team kills. I am positive that you had 6 as the number of team kills I write down is exactly what happened, I make sure to count them carefully. As I don't remember the earlier team kills I will need to look at damage logs for that, what I do know is that you killed Batman many times after I told you not too.
Revenge team killing is not needed, let the admins take care of it.
I can understand a ban for disregarding an admin's warning, which I take responsibility for, but a 12 month ban for a first offense seems to me excessive. And in regards to Red's comments, I admit to accidental TK's which inevitably occur if the hidden is right in front of a teammate and I attempt to shoot the hidden. It is part of the balance of the game to have accidental TK's so I don't understand why accidental TKing would be a bannable offense.
