I've never played through a Half life game, If i were to start playing it should i play HL1 first
Dude you should have bought them all during the holiday sale. I bet both half-lives and thee expansions were about 15-20 bucks total. They certainly deserve the place they get in gaming history, you won't be let down.

Yeah but it still happens. Even if you can't mess with peoples stuff people will go kill others if they have a dispute and take all their stuff and try to destroy it. It has had to have happened on the old server about 3/4 times.

I dunno about the hacking since I wasnt there but he did have myg0t in his name if you check his aliases along with wearing the tag previously and he does have a VAC ban hence the link to the VAC ban list, though oddly its tomorrow that he got banned??

A no griefing rule that is actually applied that scales as more greifing is caused ie grief once hour ban, grief twice day ban etc. Admins that will do there job instead of abusing their power and getting off scot free. Otherwise what razer said

Why do we need your steam ID(when you post): We try to keep track of our Pmutes but if I cannot find it and no admin steps up to claim the mute I will unmute you (or ask another admin to do it). However, know that if you start saying it again any appeal will be locked on site.
If the admin who muted you says they think you should be forgiven then I will see you get unmuted.
I Know we got that list and his name isn't on there but i figured there would be a way to find out who did it. My guess is it would have to be one of the new admins.

I have a few things to say; First of all admins do not permanently mute people for saying the "n word" twice, you must have used it more times or in a certain context. Secondly there is no "non-offensive" way of saying the "n-word" as the word itself is offensive. Finally, not taking the time to fully fill in the format does not show that you care enough to want this unmute.
I wrote a really long reply to this and the forum deleted it and redirected me so heres the short version...I only said it twice, I'm not lying. I honestly don't know the admin and I'll fill in my steam ID depending on which way you guys decide on this. I'll fill it in now if you need it though. Also, I know where you're coming from saying its offensive, I put nonoffensive in quotes because I didnt directly target blacks, saying a stupid racist comment such as they eat fried chicken or something. I just added it to the end of a sentence.
What we need is your steam ID to verify if somebody did pmute you, so that would help greatly. In terms of what you said, regardless if it is "non offensive" the n-word in no way is condoned at CG along with any kind's of attacks against religion sex etc. We don't care how you use it or what context you put it in, its a no no on this server. Besides that imho a pmute would be too harsh of an punishment if you used that term as much as you did. It would warrant a mute, along with being told to not do it again but not a pmute. The only way that would really go down is if you started doing it repeatedly or continued to disregard an admins orders

Allow me to quote my post on the other thread. You seem to have missed it.
Pillz if what you're implying is a whitelist then I think no.
Whitelists are a general pain in the ass for both the people approving them and the people applying. They also pretty much stop any chances of CG bringing in players with the server. Besides if we have admins why do we need a whitelist?
Pills does have a point. CG is open to anybody willing to join but with the way people grief in minecraft maybe a safe bet would be to keep it small and mostly CG people and if its popular expand and if it gets more popular then expand to include it for anybody. Just a thought.
Whitelists only stop CG from expanding and remove possible revenue. The only way we could get strangers to actually come and apply for a whitelist is if we run around advertising it's fantasticness.
Minecraft isn't the place for finding new players. The last server had quite a handful of random people playing, and they took the liberty of removing all the blocks around my house area. Never found out who did it but having cunts like that around completely deters me from playing. If it isn't all CG people I love and trust (lol) you won't see me playing anything but singleplayer. Plus Sly's server was laggy and would randomly fuck my shit up, so I didn't like that either.
