Alright so I've been making some minor tweaks and moves to attempt to organize our forums a little more. Some boards got combined and moved around, and I'm looking to see what I should do next. Click the Forum tab at the top of the page and look around, maybe some more of you could apply for moderator in some parts and help out?
I was thinking of narrowing CG Main down to CG centered boards, IE Rules, Announcements, Introductions, Steam Redirect and Community suggestions. Maybe Youtube also? Then we could have a Discussion board where we have the GD, Way off Topic, Art, and perhaps a new board or two. That way we have CG things in one area and our usual banter in another.
Also wondering if we should make the Admin Application section it's own board since it's such an active part of the forum.
I feel like it still needs a bit more work, but does anyone have any ideas for other forum boards, rules or the such? What do you like about the forum, and what don't you like? How does everyone feel about the Main portal?

There's discussion of a Tekkit server going up too in a similar fashion to Sqtgdogs server so we might create child boards for the individual MC servers.
Again, probably best to make the first server sustainable, then think about others. We always seem to bite off more then we can chew and it never ends well, even if the server is free.
Yes but this would be ran by a friend of Mr. Soap who's been running a server for them and they recently got it changed to dedicated hosting which we'd like to do with Sqtgdog's server one day so we're looking into all that right now; but to have both a Tekkit and mostly Vanilla server in CG would be quite neat.

While we might look into TS3 admins later on down the road, right now we don't need the help; like the others said you can created temporary admin inside other channels and the such but thank you for your offer.

A valuable lesson in checking your email daily I guess 
Yeah, well I'm pretty sure they missed an Email to me somewhere because the first email with a key I got was "REMINDER, ESO BETA TOMORROW" and when I was registering the beta account I had to resend the confirmation email 3 times before it showed up in my inbox, then an hour 3 extra emails from them showed up with the same message, confirming my account was created- 1% downloaded, 2hours 15 minutes remaining till 6PM EST. THE RACE IS ON

God damnit. I mean I even had 40GB of free space on the C drive so I don't really understand why this happened but I guess it wasn't meant to be @_@ 3 hours left, maybe I can download it properly in time and get like 20 seconds of gameplay..

Yea unfortunately we are not allowed to record or even stream videoz. I am kinda glad that people were streaming because it then opened slots for me to log into the server. Also Pillz when does your beta start?
Not sure, the email said the ESO Beta is going on now and that I need to activate and install my beta; and it gave me a key so I've been downloading the game ever since.
Your in the event beta. Meaning you will be able to play Today only. If you read the email earlier you would have been able to play from Friday to today.
Oh wow I didn't see a date anywhere but felt like I was a little late. I checked my Email when this thread popped up and I had nothing, and apparently I got the first Email with a beta-key reminding me that "ESO Beta test is tomorrow night!" on the 22nd of November. Strange, but hopefully I get to play a little bit before the days over. Only at 19%..

Well if he's already a server owner, is there really any need? If there should be HA for things like minecraft, there should just be "CG Community (GAME NAME HERE) Server Owner" tags, to show that someone owns a particular server that isn't "owned" or paid for by Conjoint Gaming's leaders. Just to associate difference. (and could help out with getting more servers)
Oh I mean if CG purchases it's own MC server, Sqtgdog would probably be the best bet for who to have do it as opposed to having someone without much recent experience trying to do it. Though if we had our own server I suppose we could have him start as trial and move his way up but he'd need access to FTP and everything so it'd just be a weird situation. If it ever happens we can focus on that then though.

I was thinking if we did get an official CG server maybe we could have Sqtg run it, but I feel if we put it on the serverbox it'll only be a smidgen better than Sqtg's spare computer.
When he get's bukkit and everything back on the current server it should be back to normal though. When we have the funds and resources we can look to purchasing upgrades and have Sqtg run as HA with a HA/a or two for when he's busy.
Until then, we can move the board; just waiting on a fancy banner.
Wait, why would Sqt be an HA? That would kinda be unfair to the process of pulling from the pool of Vet admins we have and while Sqt is a cool guy, I know he has much better things to do then run the server (we already have enough inactive HA's right now :/ )
Well because he knows what he's doing, and he doesn't really have any means of becoming a trial, regular or vet? We don't exactly have trial/regular admins for MC and if we got an official CG server he would have to be at least the coder/HA'a.
