I agree with travis. I have had three like that, one even changed my desktop background to a picture, saying I have a virus and need -insert program name here-, and it wouldn't allow me to do anything admin related, or even CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
They all had the little popups in the bottom telling me I have a virus, and I need to fix it buy buying their shit. Usually, the second it happens, I just boot in safe mode and run a system restore to like 3 hours before, only one wouldn't allow me to do that.

Lot's of things serve no importance. There are thousands of worthless things we all do, as a society. Like playing checkers, collecting shit, listening to music, drawing pictures when your bored, chatting on forums, playing video games, or for some people, praying to that guy up in the clouds, perhaps practicing wicca, or meditating. Etc.

Or maybe my morals are me. Anyway I always thought morals more like, thinking about people first, kind of like bible oriented generalized common knowledge rules. Like you don't yell at people, you don't steal, you don't look at child porn, you don't get turned on by girls crying in pain, etc. I hear people refer to their morals as something they have. I suppose that's wrong, but if my morals are, me, then... uh.

The set of morals that the Bible sets forth is THE BIBLE'S set of morals. A rather destructive one, as a matter of fact, based greatly on altruism. But its only ONE set of morals. The world is filled with them.
I quote for Wikipedia the definition of morality. Not the best, but it should do:
"Morality (from the Latin moralitas "manner, character, proper behavior") is a sense of behavioral conduct that differentiates intentions, decisions, and actions between those that are good (or right) and bad (or wrong). A moral code is a system of morality (for example, according to a particular philosophy, religion, culture, etc.) and a moral is any one practice or teaching within a moral code. Immorality is the active opposition to morality, while amorality is variously defined as an unawareness of, indifference toward, or disbelief in any set of moral standards or principles"

I could care less about ethics and morals and shit. Not sure if I'm taking this out of context, but I'm starting to feel you here more and more. As much as I feel like there IS a wrong way to do things, and that a lot of people adhere to that wrong way, and that I have an obligation to say something about it, my care-o-meter is beginning to run out of steam. Ultimately everything bullshit anyway.
Then I remember that that's what everyone starts to think as they exit adolescence and hit adulthood, and I stick my thumb up my bum and hesitate.
It's not that I don't care about morals at all, I just don't believe I'm nice due to them. It's more like, I just don't think about it like that perhaps. I'm sure if I sat here and thought about it I could find that exact moral-set I follow and how it affects my decisions and life and etc. I don't sit there and think "is this the right thing to do?" and shit like that, I mean in tons of situations I do, but when it comes down to just "being nice". .. . lol Dude I'm so high right now, this window's been open forever, I'm just gonna go sit down.. I'm just going to take this time to... enlighten you. Nope never mind. But uh, I'm really happy right now.  Like, honestly I love you Crypto. You're such an amazing person. I would hang a picture on my wall but I feel like that crosses some kind of line. Not really, but yeah. I love everyone right now.

I've never heard so much hostility towards it before, inception that is. I don't get the whole "It's too deep and asojaigj you gots ta be smurt to understand it" or anything, it just seemed like a cool movie. It wasn't SHIT. I've never really had a negative bias towards a movie, up until the last airbender. That was the only movie that I wanted to just stop watching.
Idk. The Prestige was just.. I don't know. It was pretty good though.. idk. I should watch it again since I was already upset during watching.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.
WHY?
It's just to consider the other persons feelings before doing things. Just pausing, and asking yourself "Would I want them to do the same to me?" If you are nothing but kind to someone, also, they would more than likely be nice to you. Thought, it might be a waste of time in your eyes, how could being nice negatively affect any kind of relationship? Or, what do you get from not being nice?
