Rules
1. No foul language, children play from time to time so we'd like to avoid them joining to see all the profanity the world has to offer.
2. No griefing, we are a Whitelisted server and playing with us is a privilege. Any griefing will get you removed.
3. No PvP or Freekilling without permission.
4. Respect other players creations and don't change anything that isn't yours unless necessary (IE you're trapped)
5. Do not use any unapproved plugins or mods without consulting Pillz or Sqtgdog first.
6. No disrespect or personal attacks.
7. No spamming or annoying other players.
Definitions
1. Griefing is defined
-destroying other players buildings
- building structures deliberately around others or destroying the land around it
-setting buildings on fire/pouring lava or water on them
- trying to blow up creepers near peoples structures
-taking other players objects or items and either keeping them or destroying them.
2. Freekilling is defined as
-attacking other players for their items/ for fun or trolling
- Spawn-killing
-Forcing mobs to attack other players i. e. agro
- trying to blow up creepers on other players on purpose
- attacking anywhere outside PvP areas.
These are the current rule set, this is subject to change and there are many additions so make sure to check them once in a while

Awesome on that hack job, whoever... it's nice to know that instead of banning people who grief and harass people and spam the server, we let them continue to play on it and hack our hard work away.
I was literally playing yesterday, and everything was fine. Now the entire town we built is gone. Somehow the Castle Pillz and I built is still there... not sure what is going on with that.
Isn't there a way to post messages that show up when you log onto the server to warn people about rollbacks/resets/hacks that might happen or have happened?
The were banned but they used some paid hacks, way too advanced for one of them was able to avoid our log block and the rollback did nothing to what happened. The rollback went back too far, but I think it only affected a certain part of the map, one which I was in as well, in the future I would certainly have some more control over the situation, at the moment I still have much to learn.

It's a possibility that regular minecraft can get it done, and yes your right about the uncertainty of what direction the server was going to take but the fact remains that for the past month nobody really played a whole lot. I plan on advertising but right now tekkit would be a very big draw, it would make us stand out compared to other servers. Now if its gonna be a huge pain to put up, then we may just throw some of the mods of tekkit on.

That sounds good, but I think 3 is too few. I would like there to be some sort of war going on but not include every nation..
the third would be caught at a standstill if the two happened to go to war as well. Maybe 4 or 5 nations so we don't just have 2 main ones that are the only two who will be fighting.
Yes but with the size of the server 3 is good for now, since only 20 people can be on at a time. Once we expand yes then I totally support that.

I have much to discuss on factions so I'll start with my first point
Who wants to see us set up just 3, 2 of them will basically be nations with their own governments, the 3rd will be a faction that is peaceful or for people to just build, make things etc.

@Doc: Yes people that pay for hacks did all that stuff to spawn and everywhere else they could touch, I believe we banned one but the other we could not because he paid for good hacks, yes I said paid.
@Corey: Yes that would make sense, is the what they said Aug 1st?
@Pyro: We tried to roll back the server, but we ended up rolling back pretty far, so thats why its probably missing.

Make a second server alongside the original.
Tekkit adds too many things to be the main Minecraft server and leaves out the people who don't like having mods all over the place.
And don't you have to download something to play it?
I am not sure if you have to download something to play it, but it wouldn't be too hard to set something up on the forums and direct people there to play it, I'll look into that Thing is, reg minecraft is not cutting it at all, seems like everybody plays for a good month, then is gone. Minecraft can be a drag once in a while, but I'm looking for a steady population, not something that just burns out and Tekkit seems to add so much that it tough to get bored, plus it will set us apart from other regular servers.
