Let me break this down so that everybody is informed.
-Tekkit will be on a second Minecraft server, which will be put up when we determine that the first Minecraft server is staying steady. That includes all of Tekkit.
-This next week, I want to clean things up and have the server "officially" launch Friday. That included having more RAM allocated and a couple more plugins
-Admin apps will be open Monday, again only 3 spots open
-Griefers: They managed to destroy some of Blue's things, so the factions are Closed, that means people have to be invited to them. This means that the people in Blue should try to claim land on their buildings, that way they can not be griefed, this means Pillz needs to give moderator to some of the people in Blue

Btw Crow, why does the server lag so much? Like yesterday with 10 or so ppl when I was mining, like 2-5 blocks would come back every 10-15 seconds and it made me so mad -.-
I dunno, I'm gonna ask WG to see if he can get some more RAM for it

Small faction areas that the faction leader can set up, but claiming massive areas of which not all land will be used is silly. We could make the bedrooms/houses and mining areas for that faction, farms and other things too.
Also are we going to have teleport and other commands inside factions? I'd rather teleport people to blue base rather than have them die 20 times making the venture, it's quite a bit further out than it needed to be lol.
Also me and sqtgdog are listed as red instead of blue. Fix it!
Leave your faction and re join blue. do it one at a time. I don't know why that keeps happening, people join the server and are already put into a faction but it doesnt list them in the faction. I may just reset the settings for Factions, something must be screwed up with it. Also to set a faction teleportation point its /f sethome

This thread will be for creating Factions. There will be ONLY 3 factions for the server until the server expands, any other factions shall be disbanded
The 3 factions are:
Red
Blue
Monks (peaceful)
The format for putting in a Faction creation will be set at a later date, that is all

For the factions of Red and Blue, they shall be 13 by 7, this is their starting area. Once we get too big to hold that many people in that area are you then allowed to claim more land for your starting area.
So my question to the Minecraft players is how should we do this?
1. Allow these factions to claim land in strategic spots to set up mini bases of the such?
2. Don't allow the factions to claim any more land, leaving everything up for grabs aka building bases that are vulnerable to raids from anybody

Alright quick summary of what is going on 1. SERVER IS RUNNING AND UP!!! I would say I'll save some kind of grand relaunch when we get the plugins on, which is when they become updated to the current minecraft server standard. I will try to get them on ASAP, for a list check the Tekkit thread 2. Red has been created. Blue has yet to start up but I am putting Pillz in charge of that faction, he will have full control over what that faction does. 3. Rules are up, they are on the server at spawn (spawn is slightly unfinished) and are under the minecraft thread, please read them 4. This coming Monday, Admin apps will be open. I'll start writing the rules for what admins need to do there. There is only going to be 2 or 3 open, and I have some people in mind, so be sure to read the general rules of what being an admin are. If/when we expand I will add more. That is all, for now enjoy
