Quite Frog all day everyday.Pokemon X/Y Spoilers be here!Honestly, I'm going to be rocking QuiteFrog and Charmander as my starters. I haven't had a chance to hang with my classic buddy in years. So far I've stayed away from almost all forms of spoilers which is good for me. So I have no idea who I'm going to take with me for the first playthrough. Though I know for a fact I'm going to pick a bird bro if there's one early on.

Ok, I talked to Kountdown and we've agreed to do TF2 segments once in a while.
I tried to sift through all these posts and threads but I am still very much confused about joining the Youtube group.
Do I need a certain program to record it or is that up to me ?
So I am offering to help CG's Youtube pl0x.
You can use whatever recording program you want, same with your choice of editing program. Though for Editing I recommend to use Movie Maker as it's completely free. Just try to make sure file sizes are nice.

I'm throwing this up here based off a staff list sent to me by Echo. This'll serve as a way to figure out who's who and who you should talk to for certain things
Owners -Cadaver -Inject -Old Crow (Obviously) Contact these CL's if you have any suggestions that change major things in the YouTube section CG or anything that the managers were unable to help you with.
Directors -Tictactoe360 -Pillz
(Contact these people should you wish to produce a specific type of video such as a Podcast or a review series.)
Managers (Subject to Change) -Leetgrain -Death - - (These are the people you contact when you have videos that need to be uploaded. You may also contact the directors for these kinds of needs)
Podcast Team -Yankees -Crovv -Old Crow
(These people bring you glorious podcasts, speak to them if you wish to suggest a topic or other content.)

We would have to wait for our empire to expand to many viewers outside of CG before we do news.
Reviews is a possibility I will consider though.
Mostly this. There are so many people doing crappy half assed reviews and news videos that people stick to the main people. As well we'd need to find someone with one hell of a good personality. Personality and Humor is even more needed for this than the standard gameplay videos. If you want people to take you seriously you've gotta get their attention and hold it, you've gotta be the perfect combination of funny and serious and you got to make the news interesting. And to be blunt I don't think any of us in CG has that kind of personality.

*This entire thread is subject to change
I've made a request for more managers than originally intended. I was unprepared for the number of people wishing to participate in the YouTube Channel (Which is a good thing.)
However, for those wishing to become a manger, I need to make something clear.
-Not everyone will be getting manager status, even if we personally think you're prepared and sincerely willing to work on this channel. We have to take your time in CG into major account, Personally I like to assume everyone who appears to be good is good, but as we all know that isn't true.
(Even members who have been here with us for a good period of time will have their background taken into consideration. Even if you've been here for a year, we can't be 100% sure of your intentions (Cash Prize for Example)
-There will be 0 toleration for people caught dicking around with other peoples videos or trying to change channel material. We have a basic log of who was on the channel and when and if you're caught sabotaging the channel or other peoples videos you're rank on the channel will be stripped and further punishment will be left to the CL's
CG has a major opportunity to create funds for the community and strikes against you, are strike against the community in total and if we get enough strikes, we lose out on this opportunity.
- Minor editing of someone else's video description or title for the sake of error correction is completely1 fine.
On that note, I need a head count of those wishing to be a manager. As well as a few pieces of information.
NOTE: THIS IS IN NO WAY, AN APPLICATION THREAD, WE JUST NEED A BASIC LIST OF WHO'S WILLING TO BE A MANAGER.
-Can you produce and upload your own content? -Can you upload the content of others -Are there any days of the week that you are unable to upload?
Edit: Additional requirements
-Must have people skills -Willing to work with others.

Movie Maker makes my Vids pitch black.
Well then, you're doing something really wrong and you'll have to look into it. Because I've never heard of something like that happening.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker#t1=overview
I feel as though, a lot of people have never used Movie Maker for compression. If you've got large files, then run them through Movie Maker and play around with the rendering settings till you find a good balance between quality and file size. I can take 30Gigs (30 Minutes) and turn it into 1.2Gigs at roughly 720p So, please take some time to try and compress the videos for those who have to upload them. I've got a very limited time frame for uploading and 1.2 gigs takes about 30mins - 60mins to upload. I can't be uploading large numbers of videos each day if first I have to download them and then re-upload them all over, I just don't have the time for that kind of massive amount of work, and I don't think the other uploaders do either. It's not hard to take 20 minutes and drop them to 800mbs
Play around with it, and try and find the settings that are right for you. Just please for the love of god, unless one of the uploaders has a 5mbs upload speed, don't be throwing out HD super high def videos. That's just needless file size

This thread will serve as an Archive for what videos have already been uploaded for the month of October. Check this post daily if you want to keep up to date on CG's videos. Feel free to comment on what you liked and what you think could be improved. Antichamber with Yankees Note: Why does this have the most unsettling intro music ever Yankees? Dark Souls with Tictac -Complete 10 Parts Note: The average video length is 20 minutes, my timer broke during the recording of these first two parts and I was unaware of how long I had been recording for the most part. Paranormal with Tictac
Vampire the Masquerade with Dante
* This thread will be locked at the end of the month and replaced with a new Archive for November

The 10 minute video was about 210MB so it's not to bad at all on the file size. Frame rate was dropped from 25-30 to 10-17 when recording, which is understandable since my computer has NO video card ATM, I'm running with on-board graphics so that's actually really good.
Far rendering vs tiny render distance didn't seem to make a difference either. 10/10 would recommend.
Yeah this is a problem though: Unregistered Recording Time Limit 10 minutes (per a file)
Who wants to have to keep resetting the thing every 10 min?
Yeah; well there are other programs but honestly we should never upload a video that's a SINGLE 10 mintue or longer piece of footage unless they're let's plays, which are commonly broke into 5-10 minute sections anyway.
When videos push 15 minutes they get kinda long and boring anyway; but I can always edit them together if I want a long video.
Yeah, I tend to stick to 20 Minutes, but for the first two parts of Dark Souls it ended up being 30 each because my timer exploded both times.

This thread will serve as a means to track who's recording what. As well as keeping track of their future projects. Note: Just because someone else is recording something, doesn't mean you can't as well. We're all different people which means each of our play styles is different. That being said, if there's already multiple people recording something, try to find a different game to play/record until they're done. We don't want 5 people uploading Minecraft footage at the same time. Currently Recording-Dark Souls {Estimated to be 10 - 15 Videos} -State of Decay {Continuous Side Series} Future Recordings-Titan Quest {CG Group, Death, Toku, Raunky, Bananas, Tictac} -Underhell Chapter 1 -Anna -Saints Row 4 {With Raunky} -Dead Island/Riptide {Everyone 5ever} -Serious Sam 3 with everyone who wants to play
