I had the black skybox when I played; it was only when I looked up, looking at the ground usually had the sky blue until I looked up again, but other people who played claimed they didn't have the problem at all because they played with low settings or whatever.

Yeah someone almost immediately did a speed run in 12 hours and now someone's done it in 7/8 hours; while I'm sure it's not as entertaining to skip over EVERYTHING it's a bit depressing I'm sure.

:l I'm not telling you to play it so you can say you played it, or to consider yourself a fan; I'm just saying you need to play it because it's a great fucking game, it's one of the best games ever if not the best. It's like you're one of the twelve year olds who thought SONIC UNLEASHED was the best Sonic game ever and refuses to play the older ones to even compare. That way you'll understand everyone's opinion on why they think OoT was the best; I mean I could care less if you play it or not I just haven't heard a remotely valid reason not to play it, and can't even fathom one.
The only people who don't like Zelda never gave it much of a chance; my friend saw me playing it once and said ughhh, those games are so boring though aren't they? You run around solve puzzles and barely kill things; the only games he plays are CoD and Racing games.. He sat down with me and played 3 hours of Zelda and then he played through the entire game and watched me play through a lot of Majora's mask. THE GAME EVEN TURNS COD FANS INTO RPG FANS.
Some claim Skyward Sword is the best one out there; and it probably is, if Zelda hadn't topped OoT yet with all the new capabilities I would of been upset. Still nothing compares to the story of OoT that has become the basis for Zelda stories and gameplay ever since. The first 3D Zelda revolutionized the game and set the bar for all the others; just as Super Mario 64 did, and many others..

I just don't understand why you would refuse to play it, like you can't even call yourself a fan of Zelda if you never played the original OoT or at least the newer versions released for Gamecube/DS. That's like a 12 year old who plays Sonic Unleashed and claims to love Sonic and thinks that's the best sonic game there ever could be.
You're the one with the thread asking people what games you should play; play OoT! Watch a play through AT LEASTTT.

Never played OoT, people always praise it but seeing it today i have no interest to play it at all. I see it being amazing for its time, but im just kinda meh seeing it today. I feel that it is slightly clouded by nostalgia.
Unfortunately, you're wrong in the nostalgia aspect. As a whole, the game is amazing. Even for it's time. The 3DS version, still amazing graphically. Maybe you should look into a little more.
Yeah you're kind of an asshole if you don't play OoT. I've legitimately played it 12 times; and it was only on the 9th-12th playthroughs I nailed the water temple. Seriously Sniper, it's a game you can't miss. It was game of the year in 1998 and claimed to be one of the best games of all time. Perhaps this is why you enjoyed Skyward sword as much, because that game and all after it just don't compare to OoT and Majora's Mask. Play it now. Download it on an emulator and play for all I care but it's story of the hero of time that's retold in most every Zelda game after, and sets up the main plot that all games are essentially based upon..

Yeah, RDM is when the innocent people kill other innocents for no apparent reason. Sometimes trolls just join servers to RDM everyone they can before they get banned; because it ruins the game. You gotta wait until you see someone killing someone, moving bodies around, or if they're holding a knife or the traitor sniper rifle; etc. So it's a game where everyone's trying to be detectives finding the killers before everyone dies. lol
So yeah, it's a pretty complicated game; I'd stick to ZPS if I were you but you can give it a try someday. ^^

Where were you last year or so when Me, Ghast, Emo and some others all raced in Pokemon emerald? We were on vent for like 7 hours playing Emerald and competing with each other; posting pictures of our teams and shit. I think we tried a few others and Pokemon Black on an emulator before it had come out in America.
After that I remember taking the emulator to school on my flash drive and playing pokemon and SNES games in the computer labs and everyone's like OHH DUDE WHAT WEBSITE IS THAT

DS? not the wii? I mean they haven't made anything decent on the wii in ages, but metroid prime was legit, and the donkey kong country was pretty darn fun.

Ok, let me slightly rephrase that. Donkey Kong Country 'Returns' for the Wii, was very good.

I owned a wii.. for two days, that took me to beat Skyward Sword
2 days? Did you even try 100%? How many hours did you actually put into it?
I put two days of effort into Skyward Sword; got to the desert and didn't want to play anymore. First time I can say that for zelda; I still need to beat it but I just get so unmotivated playing as I know I'm going to be returning to that amazingly fun place 2-3 times. I hated that desert; and forreal, I kind of didn't like any of the levels except the firey place. I really enjoy the game but it feels like a shittier version of wind waker that looks "better". I would rather play through WindWaker again; or OOT, or MM, or any other Zelda. The only two zelda games to ever dissapoint me: Skyward Sword, and the fucking Train Track game for DS. Not to mention how buggy the Controls were for me. I don't know if it's because my couch is further back than it should be and too low, and when I stand up my TV might be too low; but very often at the worse possible times link wouldn't swing how I swung. I could always get him to swing correctly after another attempt or two but after losing a few hearts. Not to mention how baffled I was at some points; like when you need to roll a bomb across a bridge in the fire to blow a hole in a wall. The first 12 times I attempted rolling or throwing this bomb; it never made it across and I was beyond pissed off as I could find no other way to progress. Even after looking up a video of someone doing it; it took another 10 minutes to get it right. This is the point in the game where I had become completely demoralized. Don't get me wrong I still like the game; and would rate it a 7 or 8 out ten but I've never felt such irritation towards a zelda game, it was depressing and I just decided I'll play when I want to. I also really haven't been playing much any Console games anymore; if I'm not at work or busy elsewhere, I'm playing ZPS. If not, I'm playing Gran Turismo, Guitar Hero or Super Smash brothers with friends. I haven't touch Skyrim in months and I had only just reached Solitude.

This was really nice; I really enjoyed it, it really captures the moments of the game that make it as awesome as it is. I want to make some ZPS videos of my own; I'd like to make a tutorial video for noob Zombies, teaching them how to be an awesome zombie. It depresses me how little people want to be the whitey, and that people actually leave the game sometimes to avoid it.
Anyway GOOD WORK MAN. Excellent collaboration with the music and everything.
