If people don't record what goes on in vent, they can still verbally explain what was said. That is why I think this rule is retarded, it helps, but people who really want to record can do so secretly. You won't find out if they're careful, and if you don't want people to find out you're being a dick, maybe don't say anything at all; make it private or say it over steam. Either way people will probably find out one way or another; I have heard so much about me from other people, people that hardly know me and others that do, but regardless it's annoying as shit; but I really don't care. People have their opinions of me and I have my own of them; but I'm just curious as to when any of that behavior deserves punishment, or if it ever does at all.
Vent rules-
1. Don't be an asshole.
2. No personal attacks. If you want to say something about someone, please say it elsewhere. We've had too many sissy fits with people talking behind each others backs.
So if people are breaking these rules, can we record them; or only if their breaking certain rules?

If pills had a 5 percent chance to cure; I would be happy to do so, but don't feel like spending weeks toying with it, trying to find out what works best.
Like I said, if we ever get a second server I'll try it out, but as we only have one I don't want to upset the majority that prefer no-pills. I would find 90% infection tremendously fun, and maybe we can try it on a fun night when we have those.

So you're implying that there are "admins" out there that have never played on a server...
What? No? Just saying admins should just be expected to play on the servers, and that forum activity shouldn't be a requirement for admin until later ranks.

Way I see it:
A) Keep infection the same, 15%-20% and when whitey get's someone infected every one in five hits; so we rarely see ANY infected people unless whitey got in 10-15 hits.
B) Make infection rate 75-90% and whitey makes someone infected on literally every hit, or every other hit. This would be extremely OP for me as a whitey because EVERYONE would be infected. The only way I would ever even think about using pills is if the chance to get cured by pills was random also. 50/50 chance maybe, but I still don't like it.
C) Even worse than that; giving normal zombies infection also. I feel we're changing the game completely at this point, and that might irritate the players. You have to realize that most maps don't have a surplus of me, like biotec and harvest. There are pills, but only in very spaced out locations, this causes another problem.
Instead of helping the zombie team when one is infected, they will search for pills, and skilled players would beeline for pills trying not to die. I prefer infection to be a rare even that can help zombies out, and would never make infection break 50%, honestly I don't want to ever have an infection rate over 33%; because it takes Whitey 3 hits to kill a human. That means most of the time the first two hits will be infection, and if it isn't; the third one will be the kill; unless they have armor.
So basically, Pillz ironically doesn't like the idea of pills; nor do I like raised infection rates. If we ever get another server I'd play with such plugins there; but don't see it really happening anytime soon.
Melee health mod was interesting but sadly only Wholegrain knows where to get it; so I don't think we'll ever see it again.

Just make the requirement that they must be on the forum and server for a month before they're acceptable for admin; or somethin.

I request we invent more forum activities that require admins and non-admins alike to participate on the forums; then posting comes naturally. Then we can look at admin forum stats and playtime stats together and see exactly how active they've been. We should have threads where head admins discuss issues they have with their admins, or the lack of issues they've had with their admins. Then people would be inclined to act right, and also would be inclined to check the forums on the regular. I feel like our forums are borderline useless, and it's hard for people to feel like they have something relevant to post. Even multigrain claims he feels like what he has to say is useless and he shouldn't post it at all. I often feel this way, but after you type four paragraphs of bullshit you have to hit post.. :l

Liked them when I was 13, now I can't take them seriously. Still enjoy their presence in renards songs though, given he can remix their shit into something worth re-listening to.
