Were you recommended by an admin? If so state the name: I was recommended by the server advertisement saying that server admin applications were available.
In game name: Voqnum
Link to your steam page: http://steamcommunity.com/id/zns669/
Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:10738313
Do you have past admin experience: Yes. I have been an owner of servers for years, and have also been a head admin for many clans and organizations I was in. I am still currently an admin for an upcoming Counter-Strike: GO community as well as my Day of Defeat: Source team that I am head admin of.
Why you wish to be admin: I am very active on the trade server, and I like to keep any server I am under control, fun, and of course rid of any nonsense that effects the welfare of pubbers. Plus, this community is a great community to serve and be part of.
What are some good qualities you possess: I am very professional, fun, and reliable.
What country are you from: The United States of America
Age: 19
Microphone: (yes or no) Yes
Additional notes: You can contact me via steam or by forum PM on here, I am active every night and most of the time during the day Eastern Standard time.

You need at least 20 post's to apply for admin. Other than that your App looks pretty good.
-
I can get 20 posts by tonight (will not be spam). Does that make my application still okay?
-
No. You need to have at least 20 posts before you can apply for admin.
-
So pretty much I should just delete my post and start over? Kinda lame don't you think?

Yal' are missing out on a good candidate.

Anyway.. I am going to pull this thread and re-post after I meet the min. requirement of posts.

A "Good" candidate would have 20 posts before he applied.

Whenever people go ahead and just make admin applications it gets a bit awkward but that is the way we do things. In CG we have additional requirements for admins that act as a filter for shitty and good admins. I have seen you on the server a lot so I don't question your activity but I am not sure if you are familiar with the community or if they are familiar with you. Get to know the community a bit more and wait a few days. We are looking for outgoing members to become admins not admins to become members. If that makes any sense. I have seen too many people who just hop on a community, get admin and then abuse or don't care at all and end up leaving a week later. These requirements not only ensure quality but also that the turnover rate stays at a non irritating level.
Also tf2 admin is universal, meaning that if you apply for admin you automatically get admin on all current and FUTURE tf2 servers as long as your administration is still valid.
I don't think you have to go as far as to delete your post but at least give it a few days. Maybe visit the other servers, hop in our vent server, be active on the forums, maybe even visit the other servers we have.
It is nothing personal
I would recommend you make an introduction thread on the forums as you will get much more friendly feedback.

Well it is easy to pick out the friends and foes of this community already.

Well said!
EDIT: Voqnum, you shouldn't start necromancing threads to get your posts up.

I don't doubt that we are missing out on a good candidate, however we are unfamiliar with you and have yet to know you enough to feel comfortable with giving you admin just yet.

I appreciate your friendly response, if only other members of your community could be more warming to new members of your forums, it would make this place even better.
I will be sure to drop by, thank you so much for your invite and of course your KIND and FRIENDLY response.

Yahtzee sometimes can put things a bit too bluntly. This is nothing negative but understand we have to deal with this every day or so, someone applying for admin without looking at the requirements.
That statement just proves that you need to hang around more because Yahtzee although can seem a bit dry at times on the forums (maybe even I seem a bit dry aye?) but he is a very sweet person who many of the admins and other leaders enjoy to be around and work with.

So, kinda like that boss you absolutely hate and want to sleep with his wife, but then you realize that he is an awesome person and you would never go against him?

I have been playing on a different community's Saxton hale server, however, now that you mention you have one as well, I guess I am going to have to try it out.

By the way.
20 posts.

Try not to double post and just edit your posts..

-1. All of your posts have been in old threads/this thread.
-
From how I have seen you on forums, I'm going to have to say -1 from me. I'm not really active in the tf2 community so I can't really say much about you but you haven't really been involved in the community that much. Also you say how your not going to make "spammy" posts and you do. From what whole says you seem like a good guy, just would like to see you more active before I consider giving u a vouch.
Hopefully will see more of you around in following months. If you ever want to have some real fun you should try out the ZPS server or the TTT server. Also applying on same day as registering on forums lol; Goodluck though.

I am fresh out of the box admin, but a frequent flyer on the ttt and VSH servers. I only feel that this candidate did not follow protocol and jumped the gun.
I don't feel much harshness when approaching anyone within this community.
Granted you did fill out the form properly which implies that you actually opened up the thread on how to apply.
However, I find it astounding that you "glossed over" the rules and stipulations for this position.
Over half that thread is either in all Caps or in bold and for good reason.
These guys don't just type these up because they like the sound of their keyboards.
Also, I too had not met the 20 post count limit on the day I decided to apply for admin, but I had joined up to CG months prior and already had two handfuls worth of posts. I finished that requirement off prior to publishing my request for admin.
I did not post to random topics that I had virtually nothing to contribute other than a one line comment.
I am not trying to bash you, please do not take my comments to heart. I am simply stating the facts and my opinion and my feelings for why I do not approve of you having admin...yet.
I myself would love to have you around more and it is always nice to have an experienced member when it comes to operations around. (IE: Servers and clan/communities) We always need more of these right guys?
Also applying on same day as registering on forums lol; Goodluck though.

Admin App: Denied
Feel free to re-apply sometime in the future. To increase your odds of becoming a admin play on idle/trade and spend more time on the forums.
