So just played a game and no no problems for the last maybe 3 maybe 2 hours might be less I lose count of time easily but anyways, I been playing on this server for a long time just recently came back from a break and well I playing today and I was banned right after a round ended as me as a traitor and I dint really understand, I looked at the bans and it said no recoil????? I don't understand is it talking about my gun? cause those have recoil, some more then others but I fail to see how I was banned for no recoil???????? I'm lost I, I'm in good standing with vac, I always tried to follow the server rules, and report the ones not following them, I played on this sever well for the past week, few months prior to that and so on with no problems no complaints no nothing then just randomly this.
Towersheep was the one who banned me.
Prior to towersheep logging on I received no complaints about how I shot, never have, so I don't understand the no recoil remark.
I mean I don't even shoot all that well half the time I miss, horribly, seriously a guy was in front of me and I had a knife and I miss, I'm no tendovi that's for sure.

He is clearly snapping and the huge doesn't have ANY recoil on it. it was REALLY obvious at the end when he kills hair.

Give me a moment I tried to check the demo but it said it wasnt there, Im gonna try to make a video recreating maybe what you saw I think it might be that you confused is that I gotten maybe good? at fire control and reducing recoil, hurrah for Bf3 and Day of defeat, having to constantly push the mouse down, so I go do that if you give me a minute
as for the snapping I would have to see it, But I do have I think it called DPI but anyways a gaming mouse with adjustable dpi for faster aiming and being able to slow that all down when you please the cursor speed, and maybe that combined with approximate knowledge of where a guy is might account for what appeared to be snapping
Also I know this doesn't account for much but, why would I hack? I enjoy this game tremendously it why I play it so much, hacking would ruin all the fun of the game and defeat the purpose of a game, it no even playing anymore, if you just autowin practically, I enjoy playing, so why would I hack it gets rid of that nice warm feeling you get when You are having an awesome round, like the one I had before I was banned, that was an extremely good round for me I had over I think 5 innocent kills, which is why I celebrated at the end and said I was awesome cause I felt awesome, why would I hack and get rid of that nice feeling.

I didn't mean to say that, tower. In the first post I clearly stated i don't think i am that good hell you seen me play tower and remarked how stupid it seems I am at times, I just meant maybe I do have some skill now brb I'm making the video

OK video made I'm putting on youtube for sake of viewing convenience, I do hope it works, or maybe explains something, idk, I just wanna be unbanned, for I can play happily and enjoy the rest of my spring break, I never have cheated never would, it ruins the game, and a community that I enjoy since well honestly other servers not as good, seriously convict, they suck. . . badly and the rest are kinda just eh. So if anything if any of this doesn't work umm well I'm out of things to defend my self with, I seriously don't know how to defend this charge, so if this fails then I ask for a second chance, this is my first offense if I remember correctly I have played for a while on this server, no complaints about hacking or anything, no other complaints accept maybe one or 2 rdms, which when I do I tend to go crazy about apologizing, so I don't see how I would start now?

its always no recoil hacks, but yeah that was just like every other ban where there was no recoil involved.

I mean just looking back I have frequently played on this server, Never accused of this, now before I was banned I played think 5 or 10 games before the ban? During that single sesson, none of which did I recieve a complaint that anyone thought i was hacking or anything, so then why would I for one single game all the sudden go hacker????????
hell if I recorded everything I did I remember actually on the map I got banned on, the other round when I was a traitor missing like 5 times with a shotgun point blank, thats not snapping, hell I accidently shot my traitor buddy when trying to kill a innocent too actually it killed him <.< . . . .dropped my karma but anyways, while they were in close proximity that doesn't sound like hacking????
also how can I view the .dem file I looked it up and they said type playdemo (file name) but idk where to put the file
also is there like another conjoint ttt server the one I play one says 1 so Im guessing there is a 2 and so on, if so can I play on those or does this ban is it like global? nvm just found out it was global tried playing on another one of your server . . .

put this in your garrysmod/garrysmod folder and start the game, then type 'playdemo eternalhacks' in the console without the ' 's.

Place the demo in garrysmod/garrysmod.
Then in-game try typing demoui in console, then locate the demofile.

But so I leave it at this, I do not hack I hope the video I posted clarified things maybe, hacking ruins the fun of the game, I have played on this server for a long while no inncidents no complaints that I hack, so why would i start mid round?
The no recoil thing I am certain is just recoil control though manuevering of my mouse which I hope was demostrated
The snapping well since idk what that is I just gonna assume aimbot since I didn't see the video, and well anyone who played with me should know I don't aimbot, hell I miss my target like 50% of the time I believe that same round or last one I also pulled out a shotgun and missed like 4 times before finally killing the man point blank.
Is there another meathod in which I can attempt to prove this?

I highly doubt you can control the recoil of an m249 with your mouse THAT easily, especially full auto or short bursts. Its not possible to FULLY control the Recoil no the gun.
Kinda obvious if your using no recoil if your killing everyone with an m249 from somewhat farish range.
I have yet to look at the videos but i'll probably take a look when i can.

Look at the videos but first off I don't have perfect control no, but my video should clear up what I mean, and also I do use a mouse with 1600 dpi I'm not sure if that helps but the mouse does move rather fast which means I wouldn't have to do much to control the upward recoil,
I never said it was easy in the video I screw up once or twice, but idk
As for the range
its not farish range either I never used the huge to try to attack someone from a far range that's just dumb the spread makes the weapon useless most kills and that round I had 3 with a huge if I remember the score thing right, 3 from a huge and I had 6 kills that round.
I know for sure two kills happened close range, one kill which is simulated in my video is only like 2-3 feet apart
and he was badly wounded so I didn't have to hold the mouse down for long think it was just one burst
The other kill I remember was when a man was next to me maybe a foot or 2 apart and I just unloaded into him.
I don't have full control but it minimized I guess would be a better word.

There all happened on the same map with in one or 2 rounds of each other so why is it that I just suddenly apparently start hacking when if I was it should of been caught earlier or someone should of complained, but no hell I played several rounds when towersheep was there and he didn't say anything, but I pick up the huge once and all the sudden im hacking?
Not to mention my goofs from think Tuesday or Monday in which i tried 3 times to knife a detective in which I missed all 3 times and took a frenchy to the face. Hell think tower made fun of me for that one, or maybe that was someone else I been made fun of a lot.
but yeah If I was snapping I should of hit.

My god can you type that out better?? It's hard to read when you add 15 lines of text. Try to adress each point invidually like putting an one point in a paragraph then the next point in another paragraph seperated by a space.
Example

hell that can be caused when I shift in my bed, panicked or just playing naturally since well I like to keep it on the move just in case someone trying to sneak up on me, I fail to see how mouse movements are hacks when if it was twitchy shouldn't there be some sort of pattern or method to it, I pretty sure mine are random, if it was snapping as in a aimbot shouldn't it be jumping to people. . . .

The demo shows you snapping to the where people are, even though some walls. While this COULD be just high sensitivity, they youtube videos are much smoother looking from point A to point B. You don't have a high ping on the server (usually 40-50) so that's not to blame.
I want more people to view it because I CAN BE WRONG. From what I saw and recorded I believe it to be hacking. I'm not super hack spotter and tend to be overly cautious with this. if I am wrong I'd gladly unban you. I will not pass a final decision without more input. So for now we are at a wait. I'll try and get more people to actually watch it when i get home in 45 min.

Tried to watch it keep getting an error. I'll be home at 2300+ so ill try it again and give you what the error is. I believe it was "demo has no header", whatever the Hell that means in the context of watching a demo.

And that it does but it better then just saying I didn't do it, I have no other way to prove my innocents what I hoping to happen is just that yall will maybe see some similarities in the play style thus maybe weaking the evidence against me I have no other way. Also hairslut weren't you the last kill do you honestly think I hacked, its not like you hid your position and I did have a radar. God bless the radar.
Also thank you tower that would be appreciated, I hope this gets resolved quickly and favorably. Since I have no past quarrels with the server. As for the smoothness in the youtube video, idk could be the lack of dangerous enviroment in TTT I have to watch my back and be quick otherwise I might get a knife iin the back, a frenchy in the face or something to that effect.

Just tested how H.U.G.E. Fire works on TTT, even with the best mouse the gun will vibrate a lot, gonna have to see the Demo to check.

Until i see that demo, he seems pretty innocent, he looks like he has no recoil on the Mac 10 but with the rifle he still has plenty of recoil.

How did you view the demo? It wasn't uploaded correctly on source bans for anybody else earlier...
Anyway, Im gonna DL that in 20 seconds. Looks like it's fine now. Says the file is 4,700kb, I'll edit this post once I've seen it.
EDIT: Watched it, it seems kind of snappy, but I do see recoil, when he shoots down the ladder with the AK as well as when he's shooting the door with the huge towards the end.
If the thread isn't already resolved by friday I'm going to watch it on my normal computer. This one is very old and lags when I run gmod, sorta lags while running the dem as well, although I did see recoil.

Well that's cool. I would not discuss hacking, even if its just previous hacking usage. At any rate these videos that you have made for yourself really can't be used in your defence, since its quite easy to just turn off/ get rid of hacks.

Better then nothing, and well I dont use hacks so I mean idk any other way to prove that i dont. I posted the videos hoping yall would see simularities in my play style and that but that wasnt hacking if it was I wouldnt miss so often in the demo sheep posted.
I mean also look at the video I posted the mac 10 while it recoil isnt great it there I fired it to the effect of minimual recoil shown but same round with a sniper and boom
any thhing else I can do in my defense?
Cause the only other reason i have is how long I played on the server, if i was a hacker wouldn't it of showed up sooner, so why would I have started now just random day.

type in playdemo eternalhacks into the console.

Ingame type demoui in console you get window and get to choose the .dem file to watch.

Just watched it and it didn't really look much like aimbot but I can see how one might think it is.

I banned him for... wait for it... NO RECOIL i didn't say it was aimbot. A little snappy, yes, but not aimbot.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. I'm not amazing at the no-recoil hacks. It just seems abnormal for a guy who usually can't hit anything to all of a sudden have perfect control of the huge.
I will unban when I get home at abour 4EST
