Title: Goin to Grandmas
Post by: AlphaWeeaboo on July 06, 2011, 03:12:36 PM
Well, I awoke this morning to find that my grandma is coming here out of no where (in fact she is already here actually) more than likely my jerkassed dads doing. Anyways I'll be gone till late August or something.
Slight chance of staying back but I'll update you no what happens. This is really pissing me off.

More like dad problems, it's more so his fault. Telling my grandma bullshit cause she has Alzheimers.

Well, my grandpa is doing the driving here, although she will be driving me to another town for shopping like every week...
Yeah, my mom said the same thing, reluctent to let me go due to that. Shouldn't be driving

ALSO UPDATE: Not leaving for a week or two, went mountain climbing and convinced mom to let me stay or something. Dad going to court (:

Well, she should point out he was going to let his Alz mother drive you. The Judge wont like that...

Advise the judge you do not want to go - and why. You are over 12, they listen more...

Damn, dude. Family tension isn't what you really want to incur during the summer break.
I thought I had it bad (my shit broke again..) but yeah.

Personally, my grandmother had Alzheimers too and the first two years I felt so bad for her, and I spent so much time with her. Then it got really sad when she had to ask me who I was every time I went to visit her. If she means anything to you, spending time with her might not be bad. Old people are old people, and the possibility of them passing on is at its highest. My grandmother died in her hospital bed the week she forgot what food was and how to eat it. I was lucky enough to remind her who I was before she passed.
No bullshit. I bawled hard, man.

I know I can't anything from behind my computer screen except perhaps console or sympathize you, so I'm hoping everything gets resolved peacefully.

We be bros forever.
Best of luck with your fam Nick :D

Thanks man, yeah I really treasure her. She's always been around for me and shit
Seeing her fade away like this... it's the worst, and the faded memories are heart taking.
Though she stills remember the same stories, she forgets she has shared them, so thats always been there
At this point i feel really sad and guilty but at the same time I am pushing distance between our selves cause i dont wanna feel sad and I couldnt cope with it well. (for similar situation see Kanon :P, youll get it :P) but yeah idk, thats one of the many things I noticed about life that stand out in animes
