I didn't even know until hours later. I was at the bar watching some football and it came on the TV.

A man that was one of a kind, that lead a nation from the dark days of apartheid to a much better place. He joins a host of great leaders of great democratic nations and will forever be remembered as a great man.

It's really weird to see you guys know the word "Apartheid".

Afrikaans is slightly derived from the Dutch language.
"Apartheid" stands for difference.
