A handful of CG members, including myself have started using a particular progam called OCTGN. It's a very neat platform that allows players to play anything from mtg to Netrunner to chess.
In the past few weeks, I've fallen in love with a particular format called EDH or Commander. It's a game of MTG built towards interaction and interplayer politics between 3 or more players as well as creative deckbuilding.
Each player plays with 100 cards (period), 99 plus their "commander" who can be any legendary creature. Outside of basic monolands, the player can have no cards in his deck of the same name with the exception of cards that explicitly override this limit in their rule and abilities (relentless rats). The player has no limits to what he puts in his deck except for the colours of his commander and the actual banlist.
Games are fun and relatively casual while still maintaining enough depth to be properly competitive.
